The Augusta Jazz Project (AJP) is pleased to present “Intro to Jazz” to six elementary schools in Richmond County. The program is aimed at teaching “third through fifth graders the importance, history, and stylistic characteristics of jazz,” according to AJP’s founder and director, Dr. Rudy Volkmann. Presented with special thanks to the Creel Foundation and Queensborough Bank.
