A big band made up of mostly alumni music majors from Oakland University (OU) played a tribute concert to Duke Ellington. The band was lead by Marvin “Doc” Holliday, Alto Sax, OU Professor Emeritus.
The guest star of the show was world famous jazz violinist Regina Carter, OU Graduate and Artist in Residence.
